One Nine Eight Zero (o Один Девять Восемь
Ноль, o simplemente 1980) es un fanzine de dos números sobre la Guerra
Fría en los años 80. Este ejercicio pretende comparar la realidad de dos
países enfrentados durante más de cuarenta años, intentando mostrar las
particularidades de dichos territorios y de cómo esta guerra silenciosa
afectó a otros rincones del mundo. Incluye trabajos de los fotógrafos
Ceri C., C. Niedenthal, M. Galinsky, M. Costa, ArchEyes y el Soviet
Poster Archive. Para la producción del fanzine, se han combinado varias técnicas de
impresión y estampación como la impresión láser, el transfer y la serigrafía a una y a
cuatro tintas.
One Nine Eight Zero (or Один Девять Восемь Ноль, or simply 1980) is a two-issue fanzine about the Cold War in the 1980s. This exercise aims to compare the reality of two countries that were at odds for more than forty years, attempting to show the particularities of these territories and how this silent war affected other corners of the world. It includes works by photographers Ceri C., C. Niedenthal, M. Galinsky, M. Costa, ArchEyes, and the Soviet Poster Archive. For the production of the fanzine, several printing techniques have been combined, such as laser printing, transfer, and one- and four-color screen printing.
